It’s hard to believe it, but the Geography Site has been around for so long now that there are students studying GCSEs who weren’t even born when the first version of the site went live!  First it was the Geography Exchange, then we became Geography-site.co.uk with the old logo shown above, and now we’ve moved ever so slightly to Geography-site.com, with a new logo, in recognition of a growing world-wide user base.

In the last few years the Geography curriculum has changed considerably, moving away from physical topics such as glaciation and soils, introducing climate change, bringing back the old meteorology element as ‘weather’ and increasing the human geography content of the exams.

It was time to start again and produce a brand new website to help you get through your GCSE Geography.

We’ve kept some old stuff, added loads more, produced some really cool revision materials and, by popular demand, we have of course kept the Geography Jokes page and still welcome new contributions 🙂

We hope you, teachers and students, find it useful and like it. Whether you do or you don’t, we’d love to hear what you think, so drop us a message via the contact form if you think we can make further improvements.
